About This Blog

My love for reading led me to writing when I noticed there was nothing for young Black females to read...I mean I remember being in high school and I would read my mother's Terry McMillan books, and even though the books were good...I still couldn't connect to the characters because they were older women. A few years ago I saw a woman that wrote books for young Black women and I was like COOL!!!!! BUT...the stories weren't too realistic in terms of what young people endure in the 21st century. There are a few out there, but I think there could be more. Soo...I thought...why not start a blog for all my beautiful Black girls out there? Enjoy...this blog's for you!
